Duochrome applies two colors to a clip to create a two-color-only image.
Use the controls to set the colors and the mix.
- Paper set the color to use for the lighter shades of the picture. Use the color dropper to select a color directly from the video. Or, click on the color swatch to create or edit the color directly.
- Ink set the color to use for the darker shades of the picture.
If the Ink color is lighter than the Paper, the effect inverts and darker shades become lighter and vice versa. For a good example of this, try the Negative preset.
- Blend mix the colored image with the original image. When set all the way to the left, only the original image can be seen. Drag to the right to view more of the dual-color picture.
- Blend Mode selects the way the effect interacts with your source video for a wider variety of looks.
