Frame Rate (Slide Show)

Convert live footage into a dynamic sequence of photos.

Setup

First select the frame rate you wish to emulate. Then dial in any crossfade between frames you wish, or random pacing to introduce glitch effects.

  • Frames per Sec. controls the frame rate between zero and 30fps. As this control is reduced, the original frames are repeated to fill in the time.
  • Randomize FPS adds an irregular pacing to the frame durations. This effect is more obvious as you lower the frame rate.
  • Cross Fade Percent sets the percentage of time a crossfade is applied, according to the frame rate chosen. If a frame rate of 1 sec is chosen, and crossfade is set at 50, then the transition from one frame to the next will take a half a second.
