Save and package designs and projects to your computer

You can reuse custom designs and projects in future sessions on any computer where Titler Live is installed. You can also reuse custom Titler Live designs in Titler Pro. Follow the steps in this article to save designs and projects as Titler files or as compressed ZIP packages.

Note: The features described in this article are not available in Titler Live Express.

Tip: You can also save designs and attributes to the library and export designs as images and movies.

Save and package designs to your computer

Tip: Follow the steps in this section to save Titler Live designs that you can also use in Titler Pro.

1. Open a design in the Title Designer.
2. Choose File > Save As.
3. In the dialog that opens, navigate to the location on your computer where you want to save the design.
4. Select one of the following options from the drop-down list at the bottom of the dialog:
   
   
   • NewBlue Titler design (*.nbtitle) — Saves the open design, including styles, effects, transitions, and lighting.
   • NewBlue Titler design with Assets (*.nbtitle) — Saves the open design, including styles, effects, transitions, lighting, fonts, image and video textures, and audio clips used.
   • NewBlue Titler design package (*.zip) — Saves the open design and its assets in a compressed ZIP file, which can help you move and archive the design.

   Tip: If you want to use a Titler Live design in Titler Pro, select NewBlue Titler design with Assets or NewBlue Titler design package.

5. Enter a name for the design or ZIP package.
6. Click Save.

Later, to open the saved design or ZIP file from within Titler Live's playout interface, choose File > Open Design.

Save and package projects to your computer

Note for Broadcast Pix: This feature is not available in NewBlueNTX.

1. Open a project in the playout interface.
2. Choose File > Save As.
3. In the dialog that opens, navigate to the location on your computer where you want to save the project.
4. Select one of the following options from the drop-down list at the bottom of the dialog:
   
   
   • NewBlue Titler Live project — Saves the open project, including playlists, graphics, styles, effects, transitions, and lighting.
   • NewBlue Titler Live project with Assets — Saves the open project, including playlists, graphics, styles, effects, transitions, lighting, fonts, image and video textures, and audio clips.
   • NewBlue Titler Live project package — Saves the open project and its assets in a compressed ZIP file to help you move and archive the project.
5. Enter a name for the design or ZIP package.
6. Click Save.

Later, to open the saved project or ZIP file from within Titler Live's playout interface, choose File > Open.
