Add and modify text in custom graphics

When you customize graphics in the Title Designer, you can edit full paragraphs, strings of characters, and individual characters. You can also change the scale, position, kerning, and style of a character or string of characters.

Note: The Title Designer and the features described in this article are only available in StretchCast Premium.

Add text

  1. Open a graphic in the Title Designer.
  2. Click the Add Text button at the top of the workspace and select Static text or Variable text to add a new paragraph.

Tip: When you add variable text, you can customize the text from StretchCast's playout interface prior to a broadcast. When you add static Text, you can change the text only when you customize the graphic in the Title Designer.

  3. Double-click the new paragraph and enter the desired text.
  4. If you selected Variable text in step 2, you can customize the name of the variable text field that appears in the playout interface. While the text box is selected, click the Attributes > Object > Global tab and select a variable name from the right-side drop-down list below the Text Variable checkbox, or double-click the text for that drop-down list and enter a custom name.
