Add animated graphics to ATEM productions

Most Titler Live products let you output graphics to your ATEM via SDI and HDMI.

We recommend connecting via SDI because it delivers superior quality graphics. SDI sends both key and fill channels, so the alpha channel is predefined. With HDMI, you need to key-out the background. In addition, your HDMI video feed follows your display adapter settings, so you may need to adjust your display settings to avoid resolution and framerate issues.

Note: SDI and HDMI are not available in Titler Live Express.

Add a Titler Live SDI source

  1. Open Titler Live and create a playlist of graphics that you want to include in your ATEM production. For details, please see Manage Channel Panel.
  2. Connect two SDI outputs from your computer's output card to your ATEM's inputs.
  3. In Titler Live, set your output to SDI.
  4. Open ATEM Software Control and the Downstream Keys palette.
  5. Select Titler Live’s SDI input from the Fill Source and Key Source drop-down lists. (The following illustration shows Camera 2 is Titler Live's SDI fill source and key source.)
