Loop videos and animations in a graphic

When you customize graphics in the Designer, you can loop videos and animations to create dynamic backgrounds while a graphic is live. During playback, the affected design layer within the graphic will loop continuously, even through the pause point designated from the Timeline.

  1. In Titler Live's playout interface, open a project (if a project isn't already open) and select a graphic in the playlist.
  2. Click the Edit Graphic button in the Preview panel.
  3. In the Designer, select the animated object in your design that you want to loop.
  4. In the NTX Playback Features section of the Properties > Layer > Motion & Data tab, mark the Loop option.
  5. Enter a time, in seconds, that the object's animation should start and end in the Loop Start and Loop End fields.

Tip: You can move the playhead (red scrubbing cursor) in the timeline and click one of the Use Cursor buttons to use the playhead's position as the loop's start or end time.

  6. Enter a time, in seconds, in the Loop Delay field to specify how much time should lapse between loops.
  7. There is also an option to Loop Cross Fade if you do not want the animation to fully finish with a delay.  Enter the time when you would like the crossfade to begin.
  8. The Loop Play Out control allows you to set how much of your animation you would like to playout when you finally decide to turn your graphic off-air.  TIP: If you would like the animation to playout fully to the end, type the time after all animation is complete or use the cursor option and move the playhead to the end of your layers in the timeline.   The Loop Play Out control just gives you the option to choose when should you want to end the animation at a different time. 9. Preview the graphic and make any necessary changes.
  10. Close the Designer and click Keep to save the changes you made.
