Save graphics and presets to the library

If you want to reuse custom graphics in future projects, follow the steps in this article to save complete graphics or attributes of a graphic, such as styles, shapes, effects, transitions, and lighting, to the library.

Tip: You can also save graphics to your computer and export graphics as an image or video file.

Save complete graphics to the Graphics Library

Depending on which version of Titler Live you use, you can save complete graphics to the Graphics Library while working within the playout interface (not available in NewBlueNTX) or the Designer.

  1. Open a graphic in Titler Live's playout interface or the Designer.
  2. Do one of the following steps:

    • In the playout interface, choose File > Save current graphic to library.
    • In the Designer, choose File > Save graphic to library.
  3. In the dialog that opens, navigate to the library folder where you want to save the graphic.
  4. Enter a name for the graphic.
  5. Click Save.

Note: Graphics saved to your computer will be saved with the .nbtitle file extension.

Save design attributes to the library

You can save graphic attributes to the library while working within the Designer, but not from within the playout interface. Graphic attributes include styles, shapes, effects, transitions, and lighting. For more information about design attributes, please see Collections of graphics and presets.

  1. Open a project in Titler Live’s playout interface and select a graphic from the Layers workspace.
  2. Click the Edit Graphic button in the Preview panel. The graphic will open in the Designer.
  3. In the Designer, choose File > Save to library and select one of the following graphic attributes. (Menu options are enabled only for attributes that are included in the current graphic.)
    • Style
    • Paragraph
    • Shape
    • Effect
    • Transition
    • Lighting
  4. In the dialog that opens, enter a name for the graphic attributes. (The library folder is already selected.)
  5. Click Save.

Later, you can access the saved attributes from the same folder in the library when editing a graphic in the Designer.

Tip: You can also save the current graphic to the library from within the Library panel. To do so, open the desired folder in the Library panel, click the Save btn-save-to-library.png button at the bottom of the Library panel, enter a name for the graphic, and click Save.
