Setting up the Stream Deck application
The Stream Deck application must be downloaded and installed on the machine running Titler Live so that the device can communicate with VividCast. Check out Elgato's site here to download the application.
Note: Select the Stream Deck you currently own and the operating system you are using.
Once the correct application is installed, run the application. Once open navigate to the Stream Deck Store.
Navigate to the Plugins category from the store. Once selected, there is a search bar that can be used to find the VividCast plugin. Use the search term "VividCast" to find it quickly.
Once located, install the plugin by clicking the Install button.
After the plugin installs, there will be a dialogue box asking if you wish to use a custom profile. The custom profile will setup your Stream Deck to use all the buttons available to be used for Titler Live.
Note: If VividCast is running and your project contains layers, the default profile will automatically populate with those layers.
If the default profile was not used and a custom Stream Deck is desired, you can create a blank Stream Deck profile. Use the left pane to navigate your plugins and locate NewBlue VividCast. This category will have items named Play Layer and Switch Video. Click, hold, and drag an item to any of the empty buttons on the interface.

Play Layer
When using Player Layer for a Stream Deck button, an interface will appear at the bottom for that button if selected once the button assignment is successful.
The first item named Title is where you can assign the title of the button. This title will display on the application and on your Stream Deck device.
The second item named Select Graphic will allow you to select a graphic from your VividCast project to be assigned to the button.
If a transition graphic is assigned to a button, it can be armed to play between video switches from VividCast by pressing the Stream Deck button it is assigned to. Press the button again to disarm it.
Play Video
When using Player Video for a Stream Deck button, an interface will appear at the bottom for that button if selected once the button assignment is successful.
The first item named Title is where you can assign the title of the button. This title will display on the application and on your Stream Deck device.
The second item named Select Video will allow you to select a live video source to switch to from your VividCast project to be assigned to the button.
Note: The live video sources available will be the same ones added from VividCast's Setup menu.
Note: The Play Layer or Switch Video items from the VividCast category can be added to other buttons so that various elements from your VividCast project can be played.
Play graphics or live video from Stream Deck
Your Stream Deck is ready to be used to play VividCast layers once your buttons have been set up with the elements of your choosing from your VividCast project.
VividCast layers added as a Stream Deck button will generate a thumbnail preview of that layer.
Simply press desired button on the Stream Deck device to play the layer. This will instruct VividCast to bring that layer live onto Live Output.
Once a graphic (or transition) is played (or queued) from the Stream deck it will be indicated by a red play (or yellow dot) on the device and application. Press the same button again to play off the graphic (or disarm the transition).
Tip: Assigning a button to arm a transition will queue it play between video switches that are also assigned to a button.
