Tip: Want to create a new graphic? Open the Library panel and drag a design from the library to the playlist. If you create a new graphic with a Stat Crew Stats design from the library's Inputs section, your graphic is already connect to a Stat Crew Stats input, so go to step 3. If you create a new graphic from the library's Designs section, complete step 2 to add the Stat Crew Stats input to your graphic.

  2. Choose Inputs > Sports > Stat Crew Stats and select a sport and the type of data you want.

The Stat Crew Stats input appears in the Input drop-down list in the Attributes panel and in the playlist for that graphic. In addition, the Stat Crew Stats input and its variables appear in the Edit / Preview panel.

    Tips

    • You can also add inputs to a graphic from the Input drop-down list in the Attributes panel or playlist.

  4. Enter or select the path or URL of the Stat Crew XML file on your local network or an FTP location.

Tip: The syntax for an FTP URL should be similar to the following: ftp://username:password@server.com/public_html/test.xml. You can also use an IP address after @ instead of a .com address.

  5. Enter hexadecimal color values (for example, #2358c9) in the Home Color and Visitor Color fields.
  6. Click Save.

If the status light in the top-right corner of the Stat Crew Stats panel is green input-statcrew-stats-panel-status-icon.png, your XML file is connected and the Stat Crew Stats input is receiving data as expected. If the status icon is red, you have one of the following issues:

    • Your Stat Crew XML is not connected. Click the Refresh input-statcrew-stats-panel-refresh-btn.png button to try and reload the XML file, or repeat the previous steps to re-enter or select the XML file's path or URL.
    • Your Stat Crew XML is connected, but it is not receiving the expected data for the sport you selected from the Inputs menu in step 2. Repeat the previous steps to connect to a different XML file or Stat Crew Stats input.
  7. Complete the following steps in the Game, Visitor, or Home section of the Stat Crew Stats panel to add statistics to a graphic.
    1. Click one of the New Item buttons and select an item that you want to include in your design.
    2. Depending on which item you selected in the previous step, you may need to select variables for that item. Complete one or both of the following steps, if applicable.

Note: If you selected Game Open or Break Score from the Game section, the Variable Settings dialog does not open because those items include predefined variables.

      • If you selected Lower Third, enter the desired text in one or both of the input fields, then click Save at the bottom of the dialog.
      • If you selected Player Matchup, select a player from the each of the item's drop-down lists (which are visible after you close the Variable Settings dialog). You can select different players at any time.
